question for Baptist support group

hi everybody.  I have a friend having RNY on March 18th at Vanderbilt.  As of Friday she has not even met her surgeon.  She's not happy with them at all and she wanted to change drs and hospitals but didn't know how it would affect her ins approval which she got last week.  She also didn't know what all she'd have to do with a new dr.  Anyway, she wanted to know if she could start coming to the support group mtgs at Baptist.  I told her I didn't see any reason why she couldn't.  Was I right to tell her this?  I'm pretty sure there are people there from other drs and hospitals.  Please reply!!
