Dr. Douglas Olsen
I'll tell you... he's not my surgeon, but he did call me at 2:15 in the morning in July when I was having a gallbladder attack. He gave some great advice, basically diagnosed me on the phone, and Dr. Houston was in touch with him daily or more than once a day when I was in the hospital. He knows his stuff. He helped train other gastric docs and gastrologists in the area on the gallbladder removal on wls patients. He is highly competent. He is also very kind. I liked him when I saw him at the seminar, but changed after meeting Dr. Houston.
Good luck. Hope you are able to make a decision when you meet him.
Yep, Dr. Spaw is the only DS surgeon in Nashville, or Middle TN for that matter.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
I think that he is one of the best surgeons in the area and I know he is one of the nicest most caring people I have ever met. I also, think that Centennial is starting to do more of the DS now, I may be mistaken so call them and check before you go to the seminar. Actually, the seminare would be worthwhile any way.
