It sounds like you are a great candidate for this job.  My advice to you is to go in there with as much passion that you used in this post.  You sound like you believe in yourself and know that you can do a great job.  It is a proven fact that if you go in with self confindence you are more likely to be hired.  Just go in there and talk to them like you just talked to us and you will have a wonderful chance.  I will say a prayer that God give you the confidence you need to convince them that you are not only perfect for the job, but you are the only one for the job.

Good luck

How exciting Melisa,  As far as sales experience I've found if your customer has a great product and you really believe they do then it will sell itself. Lets face it everyone of us has used something that was truly awesome you can't wait to tell your Friends about Werther it be a new restaurant, protean powder, Avon, or a monkey wrench. If Remington has a good product you can sell it because your not coning anyone you know it will make the buyers life better. It sells itself your just the conduit. Hope that make sense. Good Luck will be rooting you on. C' ya

Wishing you the best of luck with all of this. I can say that I know how you feel. I was in a situation, where the company was creating a new position for the department that I was working in. At the time, I was the lead in the department overseeing 10 employees that I had been in for about 7 years. The new position was a supervisor's position, so I felt like I was very qualified to post for it. So I did, they told me that they allready had someone in mind for it. Now here is the kicker, when they brought this person in they didn't have a clue as to what the department did as far as work. I had to train this person for the job that I wanted. She was a skinny minny prim and proper, had the right clothes and the right look I guess. So anyway like I said I can relate for sure. Hope all goes well for you. Keep us posted. Cheryl

Unfortunately it happens everyday but I know I just have to find the right person, place, and time. Thanks Cheryl!
