Would like some info about Body Shaper

I would like to know where anyone suggests purchasing one of the body shapers. I am not a fan of girdles....nightmare from teenage hood and getting married in one. But I was told it will help me after surgery, but as I melt away. Anyone got any idea???? Sharon/Memphis, TN

My Doc gave me one after my surgery I wore it in the hospital and until my J Tubes were removed but not after that it was extremely uncomfortable

I think I am gonna try the spanx from Lane Bryant...... I have heard alot good things from them, they run around $32.00 But they will last. I think that I will wait til I can't hide it.  So far that seems to be the one of choice for me. Any other ones that others have tried. MySpace Comments Hugs Barb

I like the Spanx as well.  They are pretty comfortable, as comfortable as foundation garments could ever be and they do last a while if you take care of them.  I didn't start wearing them until I tried to hide the excess skin. darlene

Spanx!! Best thing on the market. They are light and don't feel like you are wearing a girdle but they hold everything in very nicely. Some surgeons put their patients in a binder immediately after surgery, mine didn't so I don't know what it is supposed to do.
