I tried the melon, I didn't like it so well, but Ash said I diluted it to much. Oh well, she told me to dilute it. not saying how much. These thing you must tell folks when they are just home full of meds. hhhuuuummm.. Oh well, not much of a taste. I can get myself into more trouble then carter has tablets, that is why Brian's nickname for me is " Lucy",. and all it is,  is that I do what I'm told and look hummmm what happens.   So right now until I get more associated with the whey and proteins I will stick to what I know. Then when I move on to the full meals I will start experimenting.. HEHE what fun it shall be. chef I might even grow a mustache, and learn to play a fiddle! Barb

Coffee Drinker Tried it in a cup of hot tea (decaffeinated Earl Gray). Put in 1/2 a orange flavor bullet and it was darn good, not over whelming just a faint taste of orange in the tea.

Sounds like your trial and error phase is woring out to produce some good ways of getting in your protein.  Maybe I am the only crazy one, but I just downed them and got it over with!!  LOL

Ok, so I've had one of these in my fridge for awhile now - grape flavored (one of my favorite flavors).  Finally decided over the weekend since I'm not getting in enough protein through foods, that I have to really step it up, bit the bullet (pun definitely intended), and get to drinking the protein.  So, I made up my mind to pull out the protein bullet this morning and get it down.  I carefully (and I do mean carefully) measured out 1.5 ounces (in a shot glass no less) of the really cold grape flavored bullet.  I noticed while measuring it that it was a little on the thick side.  Kind of reminded me of Vicks 44 cough syrup - the kind that is supposed to "cling" to you as it starts to work.  Anyway, I got it all measured it out, swirled it around, smelled it, dipped my finger in it and let the dog taste it.  She liked it and actually wanted more.  So, I thought, ok this can't be as bad as the IsoPure aka IsoPuke which she didn't like.  As a matter of fact, she barked at the IsoPure and then turned her back and kicked her heels up at it.  So, I thought ok, I can do this.  I went back to the kitchen to drink it over the sink - just in case.  Then I thought, ok, just think of it as a Tequila shot (minus, the salt, lemon, and the buzz afterwards) - which I used to love dearly.  So, it was bottoms up.  As the first bit hit the back of my throat and started going down, I had a bit of a gag reflex, but then I just kept going.  It didn't last long enough to really get a true "feel" for the taste, but I did have a fleeting taste of grape and sweetness (that I didn't like).  It went down relatively well, didn't leave an after taste, and I believe I can get the rest of the bullet down this evening.  I know I need to do this in order to continue my weight loss and to become healthier, so, I will manage to choke these down daily because they do go quickly.  You don't have to sip on protein drinks all day - unless you want to - if you can get this down.  So, here's to you Bama Bob and all the others out there - bottoms up!

I'm curious as to whether you have tried them in sugar free jello.  You cannot taste the difference.  Follow the directions on the jello as far as heating up your boiling water, then when it comes to "add one cup cold water", add your 3 oz protein bullet and 5 oz of cold water. Sets up great.  Tastes great.  You will not be able to tell a difference.  Top off with some whip cream... yummo.  Later when you get far enough out after surgery, you can add some splenda sweetened libby's pineapple, tropical salad or mandarin oranges.

Jello would be a good place to add the bullet; however, I just can't seem to stomach jello anymore.  I ate so much of it during the 2 weeks prior to my surgery even the site of it makes me gag.  I do agree with Shelia though, if you can gag down Nyquil or even the horrid liquid Hydrocodone they give you for pain relief after your surgery, you can surely gag down 1.5 ounces of the Bullet.  As a matter of fact, I think the dosage for the Nyquil and Hydrocodone is greater than the amount you have to drink for the Bullet.  But I guess it is all a personal preference.  I for one really don't like protein drinks and trust me, I've been trying them since last week (and even before that).  I just haven't found one that I like to drink and using the bullet is a good way to get in a good amount of protein in a quick way.  I guess I'm going to be a Bullet drinker.

I also made a snow cone with mine.  It was good.  Add some grape bullet to some blue rasberry sugar free zero carb snow cone flavoring.
