SHHHHHHHHHH A SECRET!!!

Can't let him know I shared this, but I had to share it, yesterday Todd (my husband) and I were talking and he started asking about WLS, it was a good thing I was sitting down otherwise, I may have passed out onto the floor. (Dale said, "Does this mean I am going to be like R.J., with a Mom and Dad that have had surgery?"LOL) This is a man that I would have never thought that he would ever consider WLS.  He said when he went to his Diabetes doctor on Thursday, he asked him about some medication to help him get off his insulin and his doctor told him the only way he could get off insulin would be to have WLS like his wife or start running A LOT!!!  Well, he is not going to run, his knees will not allow that, but he is starting to inquire about WLS.  I think that his eyes have been opened up to it since he has been around so many of us LOSERS and has seen that we are happy, healthy, and normal, even without all that FOOD!!!  Now he is not the type to be pressured into something, but this is a BIG beginning, because I would have never thought that he would have even inquired!!  I am not going to push him, but keep him in prayer, maybe he will find that this is for him too!!! It was my idea to have WLS and my DH didn't want to have anything to do with it.... a few years later.  I got my wish.  We both had RNY 3 weeks apart.  I am so glad we did it together.  It has made it so much easier to have him as support.  Good luck to you!! Hugs, jenspen
