What Did Ya Eat Today? Monday

Well it has been a glorious day! I am feeling MUCH better than I did over the weekend... Healing up nicely, cramps dissipating! Praise jesus! I hope you had wonderful weather wherever you are in this world... and that the sun was shining down in all its glory and majesty upon your head! Sun does our bodies good... gets that Vitamin D flowing, and Lord knows we sure all need to get some Vitamin D. Mine is deficient like many other wls patients.... It's that wonderful time again. I hope if you haven't posted to the "What Did Ya Eat Thread" that you will consider it.. mostly its a place to be accountable. For me, I don't want to be a hypocrite and fill my tiny tummy full of M&M's and Oreos all day and then come and say "Hey ya'll... guess what? I ate 2 oz of chicken and a protein drink!" LOL. But really, its a place to hold us accountable for our actions and help us stay on the straight and narrow... Not just because someone else expect us to do right... but so that we will be long term successes on this journey called weight loss. We have come so far, and many have quite a ways to go. We all want to support one another, and see each come into his/her personal goal and potential. Having said that... Let's get down to the nitty gritty. I don't know about you, but I would love to see some new posters so that I can get some NEW food ideas! Here are my choices for the day, and I'd like to know how your tummy faired.... Early morning protein Chocolate Matrix 3/4 scoop, Syntha 6 Mochachino 1/8 scoop, 1 sleeve SF chocolate milk mix from walmart... YUM good Breakfast Protein coffee - 8 oz coffee, 1 splenda, 1 scoop Whey Gourmet Arctic Frappe Lunch chicken breast on some salad, 2 slices tomato with shredded parmesan cheese Afternoon Protein 1 sleeve sugar free Walmart grape drink, 1 oz grape New Whey Protein Bullet, 20 oz water Supper I mixed a lemon/lime cheapo crystal lite and a lemonade together in 20 oz bottled water, used about 3 oz of it with 1 oz tequila for my own sugar free margarita while I cooked supper *1 low carb tortilla, shredded mexican cheese, shredded mexican chicken w/enchilada sauce, green chiles, salsa, diced tomatoes... it was so good! oh, and a little bit of sour cream on it (made in the quesadilla maker) **I can't keep chips in the house for Tim cause he eats them all... no portion control so while at Kroger, I bought him a single serve tiny bag of Doritos to go with HIS dinner! Now that is portion control! Gotta watch out for him as well as me!

Well today I did good I think... : ) Breakfast: 2 oz milk 6oz water with chocolate Body fortress   Lunch: 6oz Talapia and small side of mac and cheese snack after lunch: peanut butter crackers Dinner Some more mac and cheese cause it was so good at lunch. he he took all my vitamins. drank lots of water, hot tea and my one cup of coffee

What is a grape new whey protein bullet and do you mix it in water.  Can you get them at wal-mart or does it have to be a health food store?  Is it really grape flavored?

This is a product put out by a company called IDS and the product is called New Whey Protein.  Comes in 23 and 42 grams of protein.  They are 3 oz of liquid, look like a cold cough syrup! lol.  They are not usually that great, very sweet, by themselves, although we have a few brave souls who just tilt them back and gulp them down (not mentioning any names, Wendy!) lol.  I am not that brave. But, I got some cheapo grape sugar free singles...  like crystal light . 10 sleeves in a packet.  They are at walmart for 1.88 and Kroger has their own brand for 1.80 right now.  In An Instant Grape Mix.  Anyway, you add one sleeve of this to a bottled water.  Drink out just a little of the water, (approx one to one 1/2 oz) and then add some of the liquid protein.  I am not sure what kind if was, but I had a bottled flavored drink in the fridge. It could have been hawaiian punch or grape, I wasn't sure!  But after I added the grape protein, I promise it tasted JUST like a Welch's grape juice! So I am assuming that it was grape.  You could also mix it up, then put it in some ice trays or those little freezer pop molds, and have popsicles!  Hope this helps...  here is a link to Vitamin Shoppe so that you can see what they look like.  Flavors come in blue rasberry, orange (I dont like orange... ) grape and tropical punch.   Hope this helps!  **Anytime someone does not know what in the world we are speaking of, plese ask.
