Welcome the Newest Loser!

Chandra is in Centennial (pm me for room# as I don't want to publicize it for safety purposes) and is out of recovery.  I spoke with her first, and she seemed a little groggy so I asked for a member of her family.  Not sure who, but a male member of the fam said that she got out around 9:30, was in recovery for about an hour and a half, and just got into the room about 30 mins ago (noonish).  She had no problems and is doing quite nicely.  I'll be going by this afternoon for a visit, and we just want to say

Welcome to the loser's bench Chandra. congratulations.

I took chandra some flowers today after work.  She was up, alert, had already been on her sprint down the hallway when I arrived...  but was ready for another... I think had I brought some tennis shoes, she would have ran a 5K.  She seemed in good spirits, and said that she was so excited about her new life.  I let her know that everyone had asked about her, and even got to see one of the nurses that took care of me when I had my surgery.  I met a friend of hers who was very nice, and it she had also purchased some protein powders a few days ago from Vitamin Shoppe. Surgery went well for her and she was in there a total of 2 hours.

Glad to hear she's doing so well!  It sounds like she might need a bench to sit on after those sprints down the hall.  So, here she goes! One Losers Bench just for Chandra! Chandra, send me you home email when you get home, and I will send you a copy for your own use!  Congrats!
