Kroger & New Products

Just want to let you all know that Kroger is now carrying Walden Farms products.  They have the low carb marinara, alfredo, ketchup, chocolate sauce, several different things.  Also, the Maple Grove Sugar Free LOW CARB pancake mixes are also being sold for only 2.79.  That's cheaper than Wild Oats!  You will love these things!  BUT the catch is....  you won't find them in their respective sections.  They are usually being offered in the pharmacy with the diabetic stock.  Now let me just say there is another brand that sells cake mixes, cookie mixes that are Gluten free..  One was a sugar cookie mix.  Good thing I looked at the label really well, read it several times.  I thought it said Sugar Free Cookie Mix.  It said Sugar Cookies, Gluten Free.  7 grams of sugar in one cookie! Yikes! So be cautious.... Wanted to pass along the info.

Let me tell you how good the Walden Farms BBQ Sauce is!  Yummmmmmmy!!!!!! We had BBQ doe Memorial Day and it was good!  So there...Get thyself to K-Rogers quickly, before Meinda buys all of it!

We bought the Walden Farms BBQ sauce the other day and tried it yesterday.  It was the bomb!  R.J. read the lable and said it was free of everything, so what was in it?  LOL  He loves the WF SF Blue cheese dressing.  Have a great day!

LOL I know Beth, makes you wonder what they put in it... air?  I have tried several things but the one that stands out is the marinara sauce and alfredo..  It was good! Now if I just could find those New Whey bullets Bob & Wendy talk about at wally world...  instead of Vitamin Shoppe! I'd be all set for a one stop shop.

Melinda you have made me a happy woman. We have Krogers here in Clarksville but no Publix or Wild Oats. I thought that I was going to have to order WF stuff. I get paid tomorrow and I can't wait to get some good groceries.

Another find:  spotted a BUNCH  of different peanut butter forms at Publix tonight!  One (forgot the name) only has 100 calories, 2 fat grams and 6 carbs but 4 fibers.  One was a net carb of 1.  These do not contain peanuts but soy.  I don't remember the names of them but they are in the aisle with condiments (mustard, salad dressings).  They are not with regular peanut butter.  If you want peanut butter, but dn't want all the calories, fat, etc. then you may want to try these.  I am going to try some soon... OH and Tyson chicken tenderloins are on sale for 4.99 a bag (regular price 8.00).  These are perfect at our house because I can take out small tiny pieces for me instead of an entire chicken breast which I cant ever seem to eat! Bear Naked Granola is 2.99 which I think is a good price.  2 tblsp are great in Kroger Carbmaster Vanilla yogurt.
