UPDATE ON GIZMO!!!

Bob called me this am - he is flat on his back - and not in a good way!!! He over-compensated last night while fish-tailing in a rain storm and crashed into a tree! OK - Here's the scoop (and he gave me the to post): It appears his hip and pelvis may be broken, and he is expecting a LONG hospital stay. They placed a pin through the top none in his leg above the knee and placed weights to keep it still, and popped his hip back into place. He is having to lay flat on his back. He is NOT in a room yet per se, but he is at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA He is obviously not attending the event - but I said I am sure a group would swing by to entertain him Saturday afternoon during the break...we will see what's up with him at that time and plan accordingly. I'll fill you all in as I know more - in the meantime continue your prayers and support. David

David ... please let him know we are praying for him . WOW .. how terrible .. It is like I say .. you never know .. that is why I am living my life the way I want .. and enjoying it .. I would love to go see him if he is up to it while we are down .. Nat

Wow, he's very lucky to still be here with injuries like that. Bless his heart, Bob will be in my prayers tonight and hope he heals well and faster than expected. We must bring him lots of protein for healing!!
