My husband just had the lapband surgery saturday. Was perfectly fine then decided to have a fill terrible mistake. He also had nausea from so much traveling. He's really down. I had the band in 2 years ago. Doing great! Please help with nausea remedy?

Lay still. If h has nausea meds but cna't hold them down, try holding them under his tongue and let them dissolve. He may need to go to full liquids after the fill for awhile. If the fill is too tight, food isn't going to go through and can make him loose most of anything solid he tries to eat een if he does chew it well. Sorry hes feeling so ruff. Hopefully it will pass sooner than later.

Thank you. He is laying down right now. I forgot to mention he had the fill removed. He can pass liquids and he's still on a liquid diet. I read to suck on ice chips so. Please pray that he can emotionally manage. I hope that by tomorow he's more at ease. We have no prescription for nausea.

Wow, I've never heard of having a fill so early. I thought most doctors waited something like 6 weeks before doing the first fill so they give everything a chance to heal. Hope he feels better soon! Take care, Kathy
