Dr. Mike Zwicklbauer (Dr. "Z") at Plastic Surgery Center of Hampton Roads in Newport News. Awesome doctor, awesome place to have surgery. If you call ask for their patient co-ordinators Blakely or Jessica. I work with both of them. I'd be happy to talk to you about their work. Dr. Blanchard is also very good and is a "breast" specialist. I've seen his work, excellent.

HI Nat, I was wondering how that went for you. I am surpised that he suggested a anchor cut TT for you. You already seem pretty flat. I have seen your tummy and I think you have minamal loose skin. I have been on this PS search too. It can be all so confusing. I have consulted with 4 different surgeons. The price you were quoted is right in line for this area. It is alot of money. Ouch. I am going to have BL/BA, TT and lipo if all goes well with my final appt on wed. I just want to be sure about a few more details before I pluck down that kind of cash. I am trying to sched first part of March. I am scared to death though. Susan

BTW Nat, you don't need an anchor cut. Extended from hip to hip would be better for you and still give you good results. but if you already have a previous scar, that may be why he suggested one. It will also give you a more curvy shape rather than a boish shape.

I am not surprised that you were unimpressed with that Plastic Surgeon - you have to live with your body afterwards and you don't want to be unhappy with the scars for the rest of your life! I know we expect to be scarred but not big wide scars! I plan to have Dr Kreiger when I have my plastic surgeries too - he is the best I have seen! Jackie

Hi Natalie, Dr. Krieger did my lower body lift and I thought I would send you my before and after pictures. I was so impressed with his work! My cost was $11,200 (the cost of a used car) but so worth it. Remember you have to live with this for the rest of your life! Oh Girl...Be prepared for your eyes to pop completely OUT of your head when you get the prices. When it is all broken down it makes sense but this is a very expensive part of the journey we are starting to tread in !! His prices are not bad at all. I made a mistake on the price of my BL/BA in my profile and put 7200, and it was 7800. My extended tummy tuck with lipo was 11.5 G..my lateral thigh and butt lift was 9500. Now I am in the process of figuring out when to schedule the medial thighplasty..which is another 7500. I majorly dread that one !!! You have to LOVE the doc who is going to do it NAT..know his credentials. The prices herein the Hampton Roads area are comparable I would say. My doc has better prices than some but does better work than most. His scaring is..can you say invisaline?...lol The ones I have now are super thin. So your doc saying that about that scar means he pulled them too tight and they started to split back apart from the swelling. That's all it can mean and it sure sounds yucky !!! Good luck on everything and congrats on the wedding. YAY !! I haven't been on the forum much because of these back to back surgeries. It was hard enough updating my profile.
