Need Prayers Please

I haven't posted in quite a while although I am doing very well things have been quite hectic. My daughter was 7 months pregnant and got very sick with severe preclampsia on Thursday night. They had to deliver the baby on Friday night. He is 3 months early he weighed 1 lb. 11 oz. he came out crying and breathing on his own and so far he has not had to be put on a ventilator. The doctors say it is a amazing how great he is doing. He will have to stay in the hospital until his due date which was June 18th. They tell us there will be many ups and downs but we are very hopeful and he is such a little fighter. I am asking for prayers because we can use all we can get to get our little miracle healhty enough to come home in June. I have pictures of him and will try to post them when I get a chance if I can figure it out! Proud Grandma! Laurie

He is going to be just fine. God is AWESOME!!! He may even be home sooner than you expect. He is already strong and as you say "a little fighter" so you have nothing to worry about. Take care!

Laurie, I will keep your grandchild in my prayers and throughts. Just to let you know that God is great and will answer prayers. My 6 yr old granddaughter was born 10 wks premature and was 1lb 13 oz and 14 inches long. She was on the machine for a little while but came along ok. She was throught to 2 to 3 lbs but when they got in they found a blood clot. She is doing good now and all problems she has is a little asthma that we treat on as need basis. They say that they will be in there until there due date but it can be earlier than that. Please keep us informed of how he is doing.
