Prayers needed..........
I know I havent been around the VA board much, but I need my friends now more than ever......repost from the sex board......
Hello all....I was gonna say good evening, but damn, it is morning....almost 4am....
I just got home from the hospital to take a quick nap, call into work, get the kids off to school and get back to the hospital. Thank you Jenn for being my 
I am not sure what I would do without you!!! 
So, my neice was in a car tonight with some guy, not sure who he was, and he was speeding in the mountains on a mountain road, when they struck a tree. From what I know she went face first into the windshield, and was pinned. The paramedics got her out just in time for the car to go up in flames. The car (from what I hear) looks like a pile of charred debris.....
So, long story short, she has a fractured leg, fractured arm, fractured jaw, a lot of teeth are missing, she needed 3 units of blood, a trach, since her face was messed up enough that too much blood was getting into her system, she has several huge gashes to her face and her brain is swelling at the moment. They will take another cat scan at 6am to compare the films and see where they go from here. She came into the hospital on life flight because they live about 60 miles from me, and in critical condition. She is in one of the best hospitals in the country....in great hands......
For those of you praying for my family, I do appreciate it.....I just got my Dad home yesterday to heal and now this. I am not sure how much more I can take......I was very scared tonight when I was a the information desk and the ninny (for lack of a better word!!) couldnt find her, then she gets a post it note with her name on it and the words CODE BLUE.......she was on the phone kinda waving it around like it was nothing......I had to have my son look at it to make sure I was reading what I was reading. I started to loose it at that point, but come to find out there are 3 codes when you come in....Yellow for the not so critical critical......Blue for the very critical...and white for you are not breathing and they are trying to get you back.....I reported the stupid ***** for doing that to me (Ok, ***** is a better word 
) Cause right after that a social worker was coming out and escorting us to a private waiting room....and that is not so good news coming in, especially when my brother was en-route to the hospital....I just didnt think I could deal with getting all this information first hand..

Wow Dianna - what a rough night for you all!! You are in my prayers for all you are going through to help you be strong, your neice too so she may get through these next few days and on the road to recovery and to your son for being there for you and for your kids and again especially for you for trying to normalize things for them and get them off to school. We are all here for you if you want to post or just talk. Hang in there - prayer is a powerful tool!
