Hello, Ladies. Just an offical post-meeting letter, hehe! I had yet another wonderful time. It was great seeing how everyone has progressed, very inspiring and it was awesome meeting the new people. Having the vast people ranging from 18 month's post-op to pre-op brings so much to the table. Procedures involving this surgery change so often its great to get new information and to be able to pass on what works for us post-opers to the premies! Love it! I'm thinking about just making a regular last Saturday of the month as our monthly meeting. Would that work? I'll also throw in a 2nd Wednesday of the month when its available for enough people to do it. Next month will be April 28th and I think we'll try Red Lobster. I also think we should shoot for 5 again because its easier to get seated earlier. Thanks again, guys, and I can't wait till the next one. Amber P.S. HI Amber, I love the idea of the last Saturday of every month and the 2nd Wednesday of some months for our meetings. That way we can all just put it on our calendars as a regular event to plan on. GREAT IDEA! I can't thank you enough for organizing all of these meetings. I totally agree with you about how great it is to get together with pre-ops and post ops and talk about our experiences. Not only have I learned a huge amount from each of our meetings but I feel I have made some great new friends too! I had a great time! It was so nice to meet 4 new friends and see Corrin, Christine, and Amber again. I can't wait to see all of you again next month! Robin

Yay! and its my pleasure to help in any way that I can. Did you measure yourself yet???

Yes, I did it yesterday so that I could remember to do it on the first day of every month from here on out. I also remebered that all of the Norfolk Surgical patients are participating in a white light body scan that does all of your measurements for you. I had one done back in the fall of 2006 and will have another one done every 3 months I think. So that should prove to be interesting data too! Have a terrific Monday! Hugs, Robin

Amber, that's a great idea. Unfortunately, I will miss this months meeting. I am my son's den leader and we have a Cub Scout campout that weekend. I am sad that I will miss it. I really enjoy getting together with ladies like me. Talk to you soon. Corinn

awww, that's a bummer. Maybe you can make a Wednesday one? I would do it this month, but I'm going out of town on the 2nd Wednesday. Maybe will do the 3rd, we shall see! I'll let you know. We can get together anytime though! Amber

Amber...Sorry I couldn't make it. I didn't have your number to call you. I tried to call Robin but she wasn't there either !! I hadn't seen my husband all week. Hey- Thanks again for putting that together. it was LOTS of fun, and great to see Robin and Corrine (finally) and to meet others. I'm not sure about the 28th, as we are getting into our every other weekend camping trips and that may be one of them. Will let you know. Jill
