Just a Thought

So when are all of you great looking VA ladies gonna get together and do something like a fashion show or something? All of these new bodies and shrinking waists deserve some flaunting,...don't they?

Didn't know there was a demandm for guys, but I'd entertain that thought. Would this work as a get together thing with a fashion show as the activity or more of a fashion show where we'd rent a place and sell tickets; like a WLS awareness symposium? Maybe do a projection screen in toe background with before picture(s) while the after reality is on the runway?

Every event needs a leader.....someone to take charge and make the hard decisions. I'd offer to help lead the charge, but with all I have going on in my life right now, something like this just won't fit on the plate. Christina S

Defininetly would be a great idea to earn for the Obesity Walk or such. Before pics with after live models sounds great. Men & Women definitely. Maybe a guest speaker, surgeon or something to give a little bit of information. As Christina says a coordinator would be needed. With two jobs, etc. I am pretty tapped out myself. So after some of the responses, last night I asked my wife about her thoughts and if one of her two Girl Scout troops might be interested in the event administration aspects of making something happen. Possible but not probably, but we did brain storm and this is probably going tp require a meeting of the minds to determine resources, timetable, and format,..then ultimately, serious interest. The bigger deal it becomes, the longer to make it happen and the more it needs to involve others. I thought about coordinating with Dave@Goal to see if this is something conceiveable for an OH conference. A nutrition or Obesity awareness expo with vendors and speakers and the fashion show; on the larger scale side. A get together where we bring our own favorite clothes to model, have some buffet snacks/food, and just have a good ole hammy time amongst ourselves and families on the smaller scale. Other ideas or thoughts are more than welcome or it was just an fun thought.
