If you don't mind, Amber, I'd like to repost this on the North Carolina board. I'll give you the credit of course. I think they would like to have these recipes too. ~Ellen

Amber, Protein Balls I is to die for!!!!! It tastes just like the inside of a Reese's peanut butter cup to me. I just made them and ate 1. Wow! Thanks for posting those recipes! Hey girl! I'm glad you like them. They are so easy and good for peanut butter nuts like myself! The diet is going well. I lost 2 pounds fairly quickly. Unfortunately I haven't lost anymore because I had to stop exercising because of the chest pains but I haven't GAINed anything back either, even with a slip on Easter. I haven't heard anything about my blood work, which is good news. My stress test is scheduled for next Tuesday when I get back from my Vaca with the boy. We're leaving in the morning. I wrote a bit about in on my blog. How are you doing? Good, I hope. I can't wait to see ya when I get back, we'll have to work on a time. I got an email from Red Lobster about 30 shrimp for 12.99, we'll have to go to dinner soon! I'll be back on Sunday! Amber

Woohoo on the 2 pounds! That's great! Chest Pains?????? What is up with that. I'm really beginning to get worried about you. I can't wait for you to have that stress test so you can find out what's up. Enjoy your vacation though. Maybe a break from the stress of everyday living is all that you need! I hope you're going somewhere warm! I'll check out your blog. 30 shrimp - that would last me about 6-7 meals! Ha! Ha! That sounds great though! I'm looking forward to it! Give me a call or post it up here so we can get everyone together again. Be safe During your travels, Robin

Amber, I love the protein balls and make them frequently - the rice krispie ones I make are just a little different - I just substitute krispies for oatmeal and use Chocolate unjury - I also use honey peanut butter which is yummy and extra splender because I like mine sweet - they are very delicious this way and you don't even taste the protein. My family all like them too! Jackie

Lisa, I like you wanted to be "ready". I started taking the protien and vitiams 3 months before my surgery. I am 1 month out now and I really have to choke the ones down that I like pre-op. I have to finish them though or I will probably end up in divorce court. I really liked the bullets and the nectar protein. I can still tolerate the bullets, because I only drink 1/2 of the 42G ones and getting 1.5 oz down at a time is not bad. I also still like the Nectar Carribean Cooler, it taste like a watered down Pina colada. Good luck! Maria

Hi, I am 16 months post op and have lost 135 lbs!! I am thrilled and life is very, very good. I tried many different protein drinks and found most of them unpalatable. The only one that I can tolerate and drink regularly is Nectar - the lemon iced tea flavor. It is mixed with water. Some people hate it but I like it; this is such an individual decision. Well, good luck with your upcoming surgery; it's the best decision you'll ever make. You can check out my "before" and "after" pics on my profile. Linda Tashman [email protected]

My favorites are : Unjury flavorless to make banana smoothies, 1/2 bananna frozen, skim milk, 3 splendas and a splash of vanilla, scoop of Unjury unflavored protein then puree in a bullet Isopure Dutch Chocolate made with water is 27.5 g per scoop. Skim milk gives you more protein, but I actually like the flavor better with water, lika a yoohoo. AchieveOne coffee premade protein drinks, yum, yum! Cappaccino of Mocha Java. Good luck! McLean
