Favorite liquid protein poll

I love reading all your posts! Thanks for all the great protein ideas. I'm collecting all of them for after surgery. Hopefully I'll have a date soon. Amber...keep us posted on the chest pain thing. Hi, Lisa - my favorite is any of the AchievOne ready made drinks - they are a cold coffee flavor...I get mine typically from www.bariatriceating.com - they tend to be a bit expensive - but post up - I can drink two - three a day with no problem...and look forward to them. My husband Jon had his surgery in November and he likes the little test tube ones. Good luck! Jill

Hi Lisa, I like the Ready to Drink chocolate from Smartforme (www.smartforme.com) as well as UltraMet chocolate (I get that at Advanced Nutrition) and EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control (these are ready to drink also and available in most supermarkets and drug stores). The ones that I like are a bit on the expensive side but it is worth it if you are going to be drinking them for life...you dont want it to be something that you have to choke down. Just don't buy too much off the top because I found that I don't like the same ones that I used to like. Oh, also, the Nectar protein is decent when you mix it with a complimentary crystal lite flavor...like iced tea mixed with nectar peach tea...the crystal lite hides the protein taste a little better than plain water does. I have to tell the truth...the only one that I like so far is 50 Gram Slam Bananas and Creme from GNC. All of the others that I tried made me gag. I am going to try the nectar one that everyone keeps telling me is good. Necole
