Hey Mo! I too refer to them as aliens. Mine were really bad early out but now, at 10 months, I don't get them as often or as loud. When I was only a few weeks out I had brought some cheese and triscuits to church with me and took a couple of bites and just at a quiet moment they decided to yell!! I was soooo embarrassed! Anyway, they do get better but sometimes they still pop up and remind me that they are there. As far as the hiccups go (I think Robin mentioned those), when I was early post op, I used to get them when I was full. I always knew that once the first hiccup came, if I took one more bite I would not feel well. Now, I get them less often but usually after I have already eaten too much and feel ill...oh well, the little warning was nice while it lasted! Good luck! Christine

Morning Mo....... Here at 18 months out, my pouch is still VERY vocal Depending on what I eat, and when, will determine how loud it gets. I can be standing there, talking with a co-worker and off it goes. To the point, where I have been asked "Is that YOU????". Will it last forever? I'm not sure. But, it IS funny...... Jill 263/136/135

man that is funny, that happened to me yesterday. Someone asked me if that was my stomach and I just laughed because it was funny. Now, I am not so worried. Thanks Montego

I don't really burp but I can fart with the best of them...my kids think it's hysterical. My wife? Not so much -
