Womanly stuff
Hey girlies
I need your help. My Gyn called and said I have endometrial cells on my pap smear.
Apparently they shouldn't be there and he says it is endometrial hyperplasia. I have to get a referral from my PCM to get an ultrasound and perhaps biopsy.
My TOM is clockwork every 28 days, 2-3 light to barely there days, and no cramping.
So I also looked up PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and I have a few things listed there. Obese (duh) insulin resistant diabetic, high cholestrol, 3 miscarriages,no births.I have been getting laser hair removal on my chin for 3 months. (Go****'s great. I did my underarms too.)
Any thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks,
Jen
Hey Jen. I am not sure how the endometrial hyperplasia fits in but I know that a lot of people with PCOS state that the weight loss really helps with the symptoms and they don't have as much problems with it after surgery. Definitely keep researching and see what effect weight might have in these issues. It might help for that fight for surgery.

Hi Jen,
I know nothing about the topic. I just wanted to let you know that you have my support as you go through this. I hope it is nothing too serious and like Courtney said that it can be helped by having this surgery. Pleas e take care of yourself and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! I'm looking forward to seeing you again at the end of the month at Red Lobster!
Hugs,
Robin
Jen, I am probably not much help because I don't really know much about it but I have heard that WLS really does help PCOS sufferers.......... but of course you don't know if you have it yet...
I would love to get some laser hair removal on a few annoying hairs on my chin........
Good luck with the results
Jackie
