Had my surgery yesterday

Hi all, I've been lurking for awhile and now that I had my surgery I'm hoping to get to know you all better. I had lap band procedure by Dr. Northup at UVA and so far I"m doing well. Any other lap banders who can share their experiences? Brenda

Congrats Brenda !! Most of the peeps on here have had GBS. There is a board specifically for lapband where you can get more specific support for the lapband. ( Duhhhhhh the sentence really makes me sound like a blonde too...but you know what I mean, right?...hehe) Although we would still love for you to post on here with the good news about your progress !!! Brenda, I hope you arre feeling well and recovering well from surgery. I had gastric bypass dec 19, 2006. It is going smoothly. The best of luck to you. Everyone on here is really nice. Stop lurking and let us Virginian's get to know you. Take care. Corinn
