Happy Friday!!!
Good Morning everyone. How do you like this rain? At least it is wasing away the pollen. So my weekend sort of stinks. We are having a big PBA tournament at the bowling alley where I work part time so I will be putting in extra hours at work this weekend so there goes most of my time. Tonight will definitely be a quiet night at home with my sweetie. My fav local band is playing at the local bar so I am going to try and get out to see them tomorrow night but that depends on how tired I am because I have a tendency to get there and be dancing and get carried away and forget about sleep, which won't be a good thing since I have a 9 1/2 hours shift on Sunday. So Sunday will be work, work, work and then I will probably end up coming home and crashing. So what is up with all of you?

Hey Court,
That sounds like fun, for the most part. Tonight, after work, I'll be taking my brother to pick up a few things at Walmart and then go to another AA Meeting [I'm hoping he will pick up his white chip tonight!!!] and then we'll go out to dinner afterwards. Saturday, I need to go to Oceanbreeze Waterpark and buy my season pass for me and the boy [I get a huge discount for being a City employee but it ends on the 30th]. I then want to take my brother and Brenden to the beach because my brother has never been [if anyone wants to join us, feel free to give me a buzz!] Saturday evening we will hit up another meeting and dinner afterwards. Sunday, we usually meet up for breakfast at 9:00am, then hit the gym, and I'll probably go to another meeting. I need to get some work [web design] done after that, then I'll probably clean house for a while, and then relax and watch some TiVo.
That's about it! Happy Friday,
Amber
Fortunately, it is not raining here in Norfolk. Yeah! I am working on a few videos today that I am producing for upcoming events for a couple of clients. Then I have a lacrosse game to go to for my son's team. Both of my older children have school dances tonight - so I could have a date night with my hubby IF my monster-in-law weren't coming for the weekend. She arrives at about noon today. Tomorrow my youngest has a soccer game and a birthday party, my middle has a meeting about her trip to Europe this summer, and my oldest is working mowing lawns. We'll all probably go out to eat tomorrow night. Sunday will be yardwork and taking my middle child to volunteer at the zoo. Then we'll probably grill some steaks for dinner Sunday night. Nothing exciting around here - unless you count the weekend with the mother-in-law visiting as exciting
.
I hope everyone else has a more interesting weekend planned than me
!

Well I have been pretty sick for the past few days so I am hoping I will feel better over the weekend. I haven't exercised like I should have because I feel too sick. So I plan to go to the gym on Saturday if I am up to it and on Sunday take my three year old son to Kings Dominion for the day. I am sure he will love it. Our previous au pair and her husband and my husband will all join us so it should be a lot of fun and this year I will actually be able to sit on the little kiddie rides too!!!! I love what this surgery has done for me!

Courtney-
Working extra stinks, but hopefully you'll get some overtime $$ to make it worth it!
My weekend...well...
Tonight I MUST write my final paper for one of my classes....I've put it off for too long! If I don't fini****'ll cut into Saturday's plans. Saturday I'd love to be able to go out to the batting cages with my DH (his birthday is today, Friday, and he rarely goes to the batting cages). After that we'll go to church and then dinner. Sunday we're heading to the Nationals game vs. the Mets. GO NATS!! (Although I'm not holding my breath...they're terrible this year!) After that I'm sure I'll be exhausted and want to just relax at home and turn in early. Of course, main priority....paper in by Sunday night!!!
Next block of classes start Monday, so no true rest for the weary!!
