Congrats Bec! That is exciting news. I too am pursuing WLS with Dr. Schirmer and was wondering if you can tell me how long it took you from your initial consultation until you got your insurance approval? Do you have any idea when your surgery is? Any advice you can give me before seeing Dr. Schirmer next month would be most appreciated Thanks, Nancy

Cograts Bec on your approval . I will tell you that a Cardiac Clearance is not just and EKG. They will have you do a stress test , along with taking images of your heart . This will entail you doing either the tread mill or giving your drugs to speed up your heart . They will listen to each valve and vein in your heart to make sure all is good . It is a pretty lenghty test , one I was glad to go through . I after almost 3 years this month , Down 200 pounds .. just completed my 1st round of plastics .. getting ready for second .. could not be happier .. Just hang in there .. get the test done .. and on your way to great health ! Natalie
