Yeah Mo!!!!! That is fabulous. Your Dr. gave you some great advice. I found that once I increased my water & protein it helped to speed up my weight loss. Not getting enough water definitely slowed it down. As for the calorie increase, the reason behind that is so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. If you are not getting enough calories, the body freaks out and starts hording what it can and it makes it harder to lose. Don't worry about the two lbs too much. It could be water weight, salt intake, muscle weight from your exercising or even from that womanly time of the month. You are doing great. Keep it up.
