OT: I thought today wouldn't bother me!!

Well today being mother's day, I thought it wouldn't bother me. However, this is the first one i am spending without my mom since she died November 2006. So today is sad for me, however, I know she is happy and healthy and not in pain anymore. I will get through this..this too shall pass. Hugs to all the mothers out there..may today be a very good day for you all. For those who have their mother still..hug them..hold them close and tell them every day how much you love them. JudyB

This too shall pass was my mom's saying. On my first mother's day without my mom, I bought a new birdfeeder in her honor. She loved to feed/watch the birds. Other years and occasions I have planted her fav flower etc. Happy Mother's Day to all who are or are wishing to be Mom's. Jen

Hey guys. Things were weird for us too after losing my grandmother in October. I anticipated my mom's feelings and made sure to spend some extra time with her this weekend and really let her know how much she means to me. We tried looking at is as a chance to start new traditions but it is still hard. Happy Mother's Day to all. Courtney
