need some help

hi my name is vickie i had lap rny on nov 27 and i got a blood clot in my intestines and had another surgery (open) nov 28...the past month where i was cut after i eat my stomach there gets real hard and appears to be swollen...i call the dr and he sent me for Upper GI ..and everything was normal...i have a appointment june 5 for my 6 mos appt ..so the dr said he would look into it more than. i have only loss 55 lbs ..did anyone else have this problem. thanks Vickie ;)

Good Morning Vickie. I haven't really heard of this but I wonder if it could be an incisional hernia. Maybe the only reason it shows after you eat is because the stomach is full and is pushign on the area so the hernia protrudes. Are you having any pain there? Definitely keep on your dr. about it. Just remember everyone loses differently. Consider a couple of key factors that may be slowing your weight loss such as are you getting enough water, protein & exercise. I found that if I didn't get enough water early out, my weight loss really slowed down. Keep up the great work. Courtney
