Surgery date?

Ok...may be a little premature, but I checked the insurance web site and I have an authorization for surgery with a date of 7/25 listed on the authorization. Do you think that's my surgery date? I haven't heard anything from the surgeon's office yet. Sheila

Oh, Sheila. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it is probably not. I got all excited when I saw the paperwork that was submitted to my insurance company by NSG because it said Dec. 13, 2006 under surgery date. I was jumping up and down thinking that was going to be my date. Then Lola told me that they put a "dummy" date on them just to get approval. Then they schedule you for as soon as they can after the approval comes in. So, it may end up being your date, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works out that it is though!!!! Hugs, Robin
