I am finally approved!!

Hi All I posted a few months back with my frustration on my third denial from my insurance co. I received such great support from you all to get me back on track. THANK YOU! I was denied once more since then and I sent in a letter of appeal that stated I had complied with all the requests they had wanted that still was in question to them so I had my family Dr. send a letter of appeal stating my fulfillment to them as well. Then my surgeons office sent in a letter of appeal to them. And a year and half of jumping Thru hoops and a month of them reviewing all my letters..... I GOT MY APPROVEL LETTER TODAY!!! I tried to contact my surgeons office and they had left for the day. I have so may feelings running Thur me. EXCITMMENT & FEAR are the main two. I want to know what my next step is I want to join the majority of you on the losing side. I can't wait Thanks for letting me rant. Lanette (I will keep you all posted on my progress.)

Lanette- Congratulations! Excitement and fear are normal emotions at your stage. Your surgeon's office will tell you all the next steps and get you scheduled soon. Your persistence paid off...I'm sure you'll do well with that kind of drive and determination! Christina S

Lanette, CONGRATULATIONS!!! (Can you hear me cheering all the way from Centrevile?) What wonderful news! I remember how great it felt to get that news myself. I'll warm up a place on the loser's bench for you! With a little luck we'll go through this pretty much together...my surgery is Tuesday (5/22 - Fair Oaks) and I'm starting to get excited. I've been traveling with clients so much, I've had no time to get nervous...which is probably a good thing. Can't wait to hear when your date will be! Again - congratulations and enjoy the ride! Lanette Congratulations on your approval. I am sure you will get a surgery date soon and then we will all welcome you to the loser's side!!! I am not sure what your next step will be but possibly preop stuff..blood work etc...and any tests the surgeon wants prior to that. Your surgeon will sure let you know what he wants next! I will be watching the board to see you post your date. Good luck in everything you do to prepare for your surgery!! hugs JudyB
