12 Pounds?? WOW
Ok, I don't know about you guys and gals, but losing 12 pounds in 17 days is remarkable to me. But 12 pounds? who would have thought i would lose that much weight in 17 days and being 21 months post op. How am I doing it? I am watching my portions (eating on a salad plate only), exercising every day(3 mile walks, 30 minute cardio with 1 day of rest), watching that carb intake (get to know the good ones and the bad ones), drinking my water(at least 8 cups a day), and making sure I get my protein first (chicken, fish, tuna, cottage cheese, eggs, red meats ifyou can tolerate them, and an occasional protein shake if I don't feel like eating). Sound simple? Heck no, it is hard work and me working the tool that makes it work, It is by no means simple, but I didn't have the surgery to sit and "think" my tool would work all on its own. The honeymoon was over, so i had to work hard!! Easy? NO.... Rewarding? ABSOLUTELY!!

WTG! I am so proud of you. It definitely is hardwork, but I for one, and loving it! It feels so good to go to bed at night exhausted from working out hard, working hard, and living life rather than just hauling around my fat a$$ like I was doing a few short months ago. Keep it up, girlie! You're doing awseome!
