8 Week Challenge Information
Ok Team memebers......................
I received several emails for other team members who are a bit disappointed with our 1st week's progress. I understand that not everyone has the ability to meet their goals, because of family life and work. However, when you signed up for the team, you agreed to make YOUR fitness a priority.
We had many, many team members who did NOT log in their fitness at all, and of course did not meet their goals. And this, in turn meant that the team did not progress on the virtual route (if you met your personal goal, your advanced personally, but we did not as a team).
So, I hate to do this, but if you do not log in your fitness this week, I will have to remove you from the team on Monday, as it is not fair to the others on the team. In fact, I have a people contacting me to join the team, but I cannot as there is not a spot for them. (remember, I said I would only accept so many).
Now, you may not care if you are on the team, or not, but, the rest of us do.
Ok....now that that's been said............................
1. If you plan to be out for the holiday weekend, please log in your activity before you leave. Estimate what you will be doing for the weekend, and do it.
2. Set your DAILY goal. If you plan to do 45 minutes per day, say that. it does not mean that you have to, you just have to set your daily goal and try as hard as you can to meet it. The 90% to goal will take an average of your daily time and determine if you met 90% or not. There is NO glitch in the system. So, for example, I set me goal for 45 minutes. I averaged 43.6 minutes per day, which was 90% of my goal.
3. Remember to log in your fitness activity. You did it...take credit for it.
4. You have the ability to earn an extra point this week, but as a team we ALL have to do it to get it. It's the bonus challenge. Take a minute to do it.
Ok....guess that's it! Have a GREAT week!
