Update on PS

Hi everyone... Sorry i didn't respond to each of you on my dilemma of the surgeon.. However, i didn't give up and called everyone in and around my area and even out of my area...and couldnt find anyone that accepts medicaid for abdominoplasty..except charlottesville and that surgeon i saw never submitted the paperwork... Update though...I called the doctor i had been approved for to do the surgery..and they called medicaid and found out they do indeed participate in Virginia Medicaid..that medicaid screwed up something.  So they will do my surgery.  And I have checked this doctor out this morning..and no he doesn't have an abundance of experience..but he does have experience..and i do like him alot..so i am going to let him do my surgery.  I trust him!!   So, i in turn called medicaid to verify everything..and they did ...all i am waiting on now is for them to update it into their system and call me with an approval number...Which i will give them until tomorrow and if i don't hear from them..i will call them back myself. Do i feel nervous..you betcha...do i feel im doing the right thing? you betcha...do i feel like this surgeon is the one for me? you betcha!! hugs

Yahoo!  That is phenominal news!  I'm so glad that you stuck to your guns and "got 'er dun"!   You're gonna look so awesome with a nice flat tummy!  Way to go!!!  I'm doin' a happy dance for right now even though every muscle in my body is sore right now from my back to back hard workouts this week! Thanks bunches Jen I just got off the phone with 1800mysurgeon and had the surgeon checked out.  Seems he is clean..so that is a good sign.  I am not worried..but nervous..and who wouldnt be.   hugs

Congrats Judy Im glad it has all worked out for you. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. I was also givin the sight elearnva to help me w/ gettin ready for the 29th test, have you heard of them since you said you had taught I thought maybe you might know of them. They called me this morning  Im awaiting email from them as I write this to you, they will set me up w/ a mentor and Ill have them as well as all of you wonderful people who have offered to help me get prepared for this math test on the 29th Thanks for all your  help. Thanks Courtney.  I do feel comfortable with him.  I certainly haven't enjoyed this roller coaster ride that is for sure.  But it has all worked out.  I got a call from medicaid..they gave me the authorization number .. All i am waiting on now is the letter from them.  Then this journey can get started. hugs
