Great News .. Jill and Jon

Thanks to all that have prayed for them . Here is the great news ! Jon is out of surgery . He is not paralyzed !!! He will have several months of rehab and thearpy ...  Jill sends her many thanks . She is very tired . She has some sprained ribs and muscles .  Both bikes are totaled.  Betsy will be leaving to go down and stay with her tommorow . I tell you , there are woman here from this board that touch the lives of so many .. and as a group you all astound me with your love .  Thank you again for all that you do .  Natalie

Thanks for keeping us updated. They have been on my mind all day. I did find out that Clark Co. Schools get out on 6/13. Not sure where TJ is?  I am glad Jon's injuiries will improve. It will take time though. Dang I just hate it when things like this happen. Sounds like Jill is pretty banged up to. Did you ever find out how this happened?  Susan

Hi Susan, TJ is in Richmond with his Dad right now...doesn't know about the accident.  Eron his sister is going down tomorrow to get him.  Jill seems to be ok..she had some exrays today and she has a sprained hand and her ribs are still sore from the tumble she took off the cycle a few weeks ago!!!  Anyway, they were coming back from FL on the interstate and traffic came to a dead stop..Jill was on her three wheeler and went between some cars and Jon followed and rearended her.  Both bikes are totalled.  I am going down tomorrow cause Jill is exhausted and really needs some rest so I can sit with Jon and she can get some sleep.  They are both such wonderful friends to me and I want to be there for them through this.  I am just thankful that this happened close to me as I am only a little over an hour away.  I will be calling Tink tomorrow and try to keep her updated.   Huggles to all... Betsy, You are a God send to Jon and Jill!  I am sure they both are very grateful to you for helping them out.  Please give them gentle hugs from me and tell them i am praying for them.  I wish I could be there for them in person, but I am there in spirit and prayers.  hugs

Hi Betsy, Thans for the info. I feel just aweful for them. I am glad TJ is at his dads. Prolly better he dosen't know for now. It will just worry the heck out of him. I didn't know Jill had been in a accident a few weeks ago. Lordy. You have been a great friend to them too. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out when they get home. I am not far away.  Also, Way to GO on the smoking thing. Yeah..... This stressful situation will be tough, but keep on keepin on. Hugs, Susan

Omg ,,,i am sooooo glad to hear jon and jill are doing ok.  I know Jon has a rough road ahead in rehab and therapy , but thank God they are both going to be ok.  I am sooooooooooooo happy.  I will continue to pray for Jon's uneventful recovery and for Jill some strength and healing too.  hugs

I feel so bad for them! Thank goodness everything wrong with them is repairable..... in time. Probably better TJ is away right now and by the time he hears of the accident Jill will be able to explain it to him and he will see that she is ok - even if she is hurting a bit. Betsy you are a great friend!! I am sure both Jill and John are grateful for your help..... I will continue to pray for their recovery... Jackie
