No Taste for food.
Hey, girls! You are quite normal. Enjoy this while it lasts! Just make sure you get in your vitamins, protein, and water. Don't worry---your tastes will come back, but they will probably never be like they were pre-surgery. That's a GOOD thing!!
Take care!!

Let the good times roll.............

Thanks Tigger, I have been drinking my protein. I don't have a problem with drinking. It seems like I am drinking all day long. It is just the food. I am going to do like everybody says and try new things. I love seafood so I will try that more then what have been.

MO , Everyone's answers are right on the money . Here is a suggestion though.
Look at the things you are eating now . See if there is something out there you have not tried yet , or may want to try . With in your surgeons protocol that is .
For me , when this happens ,.. I just try something different .. Like , I did not ever like tomatoes before surgery .. and when the taste thing got to me I tried a new salad with tomatoes and a different dressing .. yum o ..
Of if you can eat seafood .. try a different type of fish .. or shell fi**** will pass .. But as Tigger said .. Keep the protein and water coming in .
Big Hug to you !
It does get better ... Promise .. .
