Jon and Jill

Well, just thought I would give you all a quick update on our favorite "bikers".  Spent the afternoon with them and they are both amazing.  Jon was sitting up in the bed when we got there and being his charming self said he would take a hug....such  a doll.  Then there was poor little Jill sitting in a chair covered with road rash from head to toe trying to smile.  She could hardly be touched she was so sore and raw.  Poor thing, she looked worse than Jon.  Her Mother was there also and was such a sweetheart.  Before we left, Jon had been out of bed twice, walked to the door of his room once and sitting in a chair.  We left him sitting in a chair eating dinner and worried about his protein...LOL.  He may get to go home this weekend sometime and if he is still there on Friday, I am going back to visit them then.  It did my heart good to visit to make sure they were both ok.  Jill and I were able to visit for awhile and laugh..she is my soul sister for sure....LOL.  It was so hard to leave them tonight but I know now that they are both fine.  Jon will have to be out of work for 3 months but if you all know Jon like I know him......he is one stubborn man.  He is definately a fighter.  Thanks for all the prayers and they both love you all so much and appreciate all the prayers and thoughts.  They are very special people.  God bless....Love you all...Huggles, Betsy

Anna, Trust me, you have no idea how much better I feel.  I have been a nervous wreck since Monday as Jill and I have become so close in the last year.  She is like my twin sister!  They are both so appreciative of everyone's love and prayers and they do know how much they are loved.   They are awesome people.  The people I have met on this board are incredible!  And those I haven't had the pleasure to met.  I love you all. Jackie, they truely are wonderful people and I had to go for my own selfish reasons....I had to see for myself that they were ok.  I love them both so much.  Now I know that they have a long road to recovery but they will both be ok.  Thank God.  Love you much. Huggles. Betsy

It does my heart good to hear they are doing ok.  For some reason I am not surprised to hear Jon up and moving about, worried about his protein.  They are both definitely fighters and very strong people.   Thanks so much for keeping us updated.  :) Courtney
