Women's Challenge Team Members

Morning Everyone....... It's a brand new week and time to set your goals. So....how do you want to challenge yourself this week?  Longer workout?  More steps  What??? Can you add 5 more minutes to your workout?  Can you walk in place during the tv commercials?   How about squats or calf raises while cooking dinner?  Get up and chat with a co-worker instead of sending an email.  Use resistance tubes or hand weights while sitting at your desk and talking on the phone. How are you coming along with your rewards?  We are almost 30 days into this challenge and if you have faithfully followed through, you should reward yourself.  So....what is YOUR reward and when will you get it? Mine?  A new pair of running shoes and I'm getting them on the 9th ( a few days early, but I have a coupon to save $10.00- hehe).  Plus, each week I have allowed myself a few new songs for my Ipod if I met the challenge. Make sure you log in your goal and log in your workouts so you can get credit for it.  Everyone must participate in order for the team to move along. Also, there is a challenge this week.  It's easy to do and everyone who lives at the beach should definately do it - since we are now in hurricane season. Lastly, it sounds like some people need a motivator.  Maybe we can get together one night this week and walk at Mt. Trashmore.  I would prefer to do it during the week, because so many people do family stuff, travel or do home projects on the weekend that it often interfers.  But, if we could meet at about 7:00 and wal****il 8:00 would this be doable for people?  Any day (except Thursday) is good for me. Just let me know so we can put something together. Have a GREAT week!

Let me know what day. I may have to bring the kiddies. But they need to walk just as much as I do. I plan on going to the gym this rainy nasty day today. And plan on doing an hour. Then for a treat I am going to take the kids to see Shrek. I know not much excersise in that. Have a great day Jill.

Hi Jill, I'm setting my goals low this week due to surgery on the 6th! If you go to Trashmore I'll be there in spirit. countin down........

Hi All, I wish I could join ya'll at Trashmore, but I've got a crazy week this week with school ending for my kids this week and my new job getting going in full speed ahaed mode, family coming in town to visit.  BUt I'll get my workouts in (I've increased my goal each by about 7 minutes each day) - don't ya'll worry!  Have fun! ~Robin

I might be able to swing it tomorrow night, but other than that, Thursday would be the only day I could at night. I'm off Wednesday during the day, but I have Volleyball practice from 6:30 - 8:30. I'm hoping to go see Jen on Wednesday if anyone else wants to join me?
