Soooooooooooooo Upset

I had my first consult today. I called to verifythe appt. they said they had no record of me and to make matters worse told me that i live in virginia and if i am applying for medicaid they do not except it.....What has happened to Organization?......Sorry just needed to vent...I am off to find a hospital and Dr. in Virginia.....Have a great day......

Wow that completely sucks.  Try and remember that everything happens for a reason.  The right surgeon & cir****tances are out there & you will find them.  This is just part of your journey.  Keep your head up and keep pushing on.  We are here for you so just vent away.

Jodi Dr Schirmer @ UVA was my DR and he excepts Medicaid and he is a wonderful DR. But you will have to wait unti lyou have your Medicaid before scheduling an appointment email me if you would like futher information [email protected].

Jodi I have medicaid and Dr.Lucktong in Roanoke did my RNY surgery.  I don't know where you live ,so I don't know how far from Roanoke you are.  If you get your medicaid, and live close to Roanoke..They do accept it there.  Now for the bad news, You will be on a waiting list for a while, but he is well worth the wait.
