2 1/2 months and only 34 lbs
You betcha, I lost around that much. Look towards the bottom of my profile. Took me 14 months to get to my goal. Slow and somewhat steady can win the race. Be patient. Follow your surgeon's guidelines - exercise, vitamins, water and protein. You'll get there!
Be well, Kathy

I think you are about right on track. I felt the same way when I was early out. Shoot...sometimes I still feel that I haven't lost as much as everyone else. I remember on my 2wk check up starting to cry because I didn't think I had lost enough. You are doing AWESOME !!!! You know.... 34 lbs is ALOT of weight !!! Keep up the good work and follow the rules. You will be surprised. Keep a graph also !!! That way you won't feel so discouraged.

34 lbs is great!! You are doing marvelous. I always thought I was a slow loser too. I remember getting so frustrated & talking to my nutritionist about it. She reenforced that everyone does lose differently and that by losing slower it would be healthier for my body. It took my about 15 - 16 months to reach goal.
A couple of things to remember, make sure you are getting in your water & protein, I was about 3 months out when I felt like my loss was soooo slow, I wasn't getting in enough water and as soon as I upped it and really pushed myself to get it in I really noticed the difference. Same with protein, if you aren't getting in enough, your body will go into starvation mode and your loss will slow. Also take pics every 4 - 6 weeks, then you will see the differences better, check out my pics if you like to see mine. Measurements are also a great way to see your progress, It helps to see the numbers dropping in inches as well as in lbs.
