Fredericksburg/Stafford Gastric Bypass Group Support Meeting will be held on Wednesday 20th June at – 8:30 p.m at Fredericksburg-Stafford Activity Ctr, 60 Butler Rd, Rm 3 or 4, Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA 22405
This is a really exciting meeting! We have some special guests from Fredericksburg Health and Sports Club coming to join us to discuss muscle tone, exercise, health and to give away some freebies! Ever wondered about what is different about Curves or other all female gyms and mixed gyms? ( I, for one, would never have joined a mixed gym before surgery or even after it for that matter!!) Well come along and find out!! Want to find out what exercises are designed for the parts of your body that you want to improve now you have lost weight? Want to tone up? Having some weight regain? Then come along and discuss! Want to know how you can exercise at home? Think gyms are expensive? Think again! Want some free sessions to see whether you even like the gym or not?? Want to know how a personal trainer can help you? Then please come along and join us next Wednesday – you will be glad you did!! Bring a friend /partner/ supporter along too!
We also have some free protein foods – new ones – for anyone who wants them. Sue and I promise they are delicious!
This meeting is open to anyone who wants to know more about gastric bypass or considering the surgery and want to talk to people who have had it, to people who are scheduled for gastric bypass surgery and to people who have had the surgery. If you had the surgery some time ago and want to get back on track with encouragement – then this meeting is for you! No negativity - only positive encouragement!
For those of you who have not attended any meetings for a while – come to this one and see what fun they are and how much information you can gather! Make new friends and people to support you. We are all here to support one another! If you have problems then come along and discuss them at the meeting - we are sure you will get help here! If you have success you want to share come along and share it with us! We would all be delighted to hear it!
