Watch your back!

For many months now I have had my suspisions but now I am completely positive about what is going on and am furious!  There is a person on this board whom I used to consider a great friend but started to wonder a few months back.   There are many of you who have provided large amounts of your personal and medical information to this person and I (as well as many other people) know about it.  She has used many of you (I too have been used) as pawns in this little game!  I as well as most others came to this board for support and advice and instead have had horrible rumours spread about me and have heard loads of things about many of you. First, I would like to clear up the rumours that are going around about me...I do NOT nor have I EVER had an STD!!!  I do NOT, nor have I ever slept with my friends' boyfriends and finally, I do NOT, nor have I EVER slept around.  If you have heard anything else about me, please ask because if it came from the same source, I would wonder about the truth. I am not looking for responses from anyone.  I just wanted people to be aware that their personal information may be being shared where they don't want it to be shared. Please consider this a sort of public service announcement and nothing more.

i know none of my medical info had better never surface on the boards unless im the one who puts  it there! im sorry you have had to go thru this christine! im sure you are are genuine sweet person, i will be very leary about whom i share things with in the future also. thanks for the heads up!! i know longer send surgery pics out to just anyone now, plus my hubby has to approve and make sure i dont put any tasteless pics up either!! sending ya a big cyber hug,!!

What Amber said!  Anyone who knows you , knows that you do not sleep around.  My guess is that it was said because they were jealous of you and wanted to make you look like a really bad person.  Well....in my eyes (and many others) you are not - so scr*w them.  Let them be jealous. If they can pull off the color green.....let 'em!

Christine - that is awful on a board like this! You should report this person to OH and let OH know what is going on. For the record I haven't heard any rumors but even if I did I would not believe any of them anyway. If someone can't say something nice then I do not want to hear it. Keep your head held high! Good am Christine-  You & I have talked about many things and we both know that coming to source certainly squashes MANY "rumors" and I am well aware of what you speak of and you know on this end too. I want you to know that I'm beside you and you are one of the sweetest, honest, caring gals I have in my life and as for the rumors...they are JUST that and sweetie sometimes saying nothing says everything. For some, fiction is better than the truth and even when you tell the truth and try and defend yourself in others views because they are unhappy they will even tear apart the truth.  Just know that this board is AMAZING and there are many, many voices of hope, happiness, strength, joy, laughter and support. Those who truly know you know that none of that is true and furthermore, put on that beautiful smile and I'm proud you've spoken your opinion and thanks for being the friend to me that I can depend on, love, trust and be thankful/grateful for that God has blessed me with in my life.

Christine, I'm sorry this has happened to you. I have not heard any rumors nor would I believe them. I think you should report this person to OH.

HI Christine, I am so sorry that someone is putting you through such an ordeal.  I would never believe any rumors that any said about anyone, but at this point I have heard nothing fortunately.  So hopefully whoever it is that you speak of has not spread such hideaous lies as far and wide as you thought.  Just know that I am here as your friend, cheerleader, and supporter.  Isn't it a shame  that we finally get away from all of the problems of obesity only to discover an entirely new set of problems caused by jealousy, insecurities, and more?   Hugs, Robin

Wow this is a horrible thing to hear about this a.m.  Christine, I am so sorry that you are having to experience this.  You have been a strength on this board and provide so much to us all.  It is a shame that someone has to try and tear you down.  I have not heard any of the rumors about you but there have been instances of rumors about other people that I know of.  It is unfortunate that there are people in the world who must do thngs like that. The board should be a source of support, encouragement, friendships, kick in the butt when needed, etc for us.  Jealousy, envy, greed, etc. should not play a part in this as we are all on the same journey and trying to accomplish the same thing.  A situation like this could tear this board apart.  We should be able to trust and rely on each other.  By being put in a situation where people are talking about each other and there are questions about the honesty and integrity of our "friends" then we will get into a position of not trusting anyone and not being able to ask the questions, get the help, etc. that we need.  I for one get the majority of my support from this board, I don't want to have to be in a position where I lose that support because I don't know who to trust and who not to trust.  Our surgery affects so many aspects of our life and if we can't express what is going on then how are we supposed to achieve what we need to achieve. I hope that the person or persons involved realize exactly how much hurt they are doing and think about what they would feel if they were on the other end of this situation.  I hope that they really wake up and realize these actions are not appropriate, not appreciated, and unexceptable. 

Christne this is very sad to here this morning , Im sorry to here this and glad you have spoken out about it and I too think you should report them. myself I along w/ 100's come here for support and advice we dont come here to listen to someone whine cause there jealous of one of us , I hvae not heard any of the rumors but I wouldnt have believed them either, you have been nothing but womderful and very informative on the board report her and or him and have them removed. Because dont know about the rest but Id rather not have them on this board.
