Had to cancel surgery
Just a quick update.
I have been diagnoised with a condition called Sarcodoisis. I have been in the hospital with a six day long stay with multiple tests. I had to unfortantly cancel my surgery due to this condition ultering my breathing. Right now it seems to be only effecting my lungs but has the potential to effect other organs. YIKES The treatment that they now have me on is a high dose of steroid witch helps keep the inflamation of the lymphnodes down.
I am so sad to have to put this on hold for a while. I was so excited to start my journey, I have waited almost 2 years for my insurance to approve me so I guess I can wait a few more months.
It was a blessing they found out before my surgey due to one of the conditions of this is coughing.
I cant imagine have this cough with staples.
Anyway thanks for listening, I will keep you updated as I find out any GOOD news,
Lanette
P.S. I can not figure out how to update mt surgery info. Can any one help?

Sorry to hear that your surgery was cancelled. Better to take care of this problem now then having to deal with it after your surgery. The good thing is that is you will still have your surgery but not just right now. take care of yourself... you will have your moment soon Montego

I am sorry you have to cancel your surgery! I would have been very disappointed myself! It sounds like you have a really good attitude though!! Hang in there. I had GBP with Dr. Anez and am down 80 lbs, 25lbs to goal. It's all worth the wait but you want to be as healthy as you can before going into it
for the best results. Dr. Anez is amazing, listen to him he is truly the best!!!
Did your Sarcodoisis start with a tick bite? My friends husband's did. It is a curious disease and my friend is trying to learn more about it.
Good luck you. I go to the Staple club every month so I hope to meet you there around the time of your surgery!
