Second consult coming up

Well Tues is my second consult w/ the Plastic Surgeon. Im very concerned about the amount of skin they will remove, and Im making a list of questions I should be asking on Tues. So any help you might beable to give would be appriciated. Hope all are  having a good weekend.

I understand how you feel - I have my consult on the 17th  - but I have already selected my surgeon. I bought the book "Body Contouring Surgery After Weightloss" by Sebastion, Capella and Rubin at Amazon.com    I thought it was a very good book and helped me understand what would be available to me so I can make informed decisions. I am also complicated by the fact that I have an umbilical hernia to be fixed as well - so this may push me into it a bit earlier than I had planned. I have already seen the work my surgeon has perfomed on other WLS patients so I am confident in his abilities! Jackie

Thanks Becca have you heard anymore for your surgery?

We're actually coming up there Wednesday night. I have my preop appointment Thursday, and can't eat after midnight. Don't want to drive four hours without my coffee!

We're hoping my surgery will be scheduled sometime in July. Other patients of Schirmers have been booked a week or so past preop, so here's hoping. If not, I've had patience since November, when this whole process started. Whats an extra few days? WOW, I can finally say days...no longer months.

Dr Morgan @ UVA but we will see how it goes Ive had alot of advice and Im not sure Im ready for all this and I want to be healed for my trip in Oct. and what im reading not sure that will happen. So Ill see what is said tom. Thanks Kim....
