I'm back! Update too
Hi everyone
I wanted to come back, I missed you all! Life just wasn't the same while I was gone from here. I never realized how much you can miss people that you chat too on a daily basis and get so much support from.
I really needed the time away to take care of myself. My emotions were all over the chart and I wasn't much good to anyone like that. So, now I have a handle on things and I am feeling better physically as well.
Last Thursday I got up to shower and felt extremely faint. My husband took me to the ER and I was severly dehydrated. They put IV fluids into me and I felt better after about an hour. From Thursday on I was so tired and weak that I could barely put one foot in front of the other. Eventually it subsided but I was scared to take a shower again.
Yesterday Morning I got up and wanted to shower and I was doing o****il bam..you guessed it, another dizzy spell. So I jumped out of the shower and almost ran to my bed. I felt weak again.
Ok so , yesterday late morning I saw my surgeon and he said everything looks normal. I was however running a slight fever. He then preceded to tell me..Judy you gotta walk more and cough and deep breathe more. He said that the lungs need to be worked to clear out the air sacs in there. He used a big medical term that i can't remember. But told me coughing was very important! He also took out my staples and stiches and warned me about a possible opening of the incision where the anchor cut meets at the bottom. Told me to leave it alone, keep it bandaged and let it heal on its own. So I won't freak out over this..
Today..I am feeling much better. I finally showered all on my own and got dressed in actual clothing. I feel human now..LOL..Me and hubby are getting ready to go out for a few hours.. I need to get out among the living today. I feel homebound and that will make anyone depressed. I won't allow that for myself. :-)
hugs to you all
Love yas

Mom is doing well. She's plugging away at work and MA stuff. As for me, I'm doing well thanks. I'm very excited about so many things and relieved still with others. I am thankful for the support and love I get from my family and friends and my extended loved ones here. Thanks for being one of them!
