My Plateau Finally broke...long post
Hey everyone, I hope everybody had a fun 4th of July and a great weekend.
Here is my update...
I went to my doctor for my 4 month check up and she said that I was doing great. I had to write down everything that I had been eating and bring it in so she could she what I was eating and how many colories I was taking in. She said that I was not eating enough calories. Which I felt that I wasn't doing. She suggest that I start seeing my Nut again, I just made a appoinment to see her next week. Anyway, since I was having this problem with getting on the scale so much, I promised myself that I was going to get on once a week on Monday's. Last Monday I decided not to get on the scale because I knew I was going to go and get weighed in on friday. I went from a long 5 weeks 210 down to 204 I was so HAPPY I started to do the happy dance right in the office. I told her about me being upset about my stall. She said that it was normal just like everyone here been trying to tell me. She just suggest that I try to get in at least 850 calories, I have been getting in about 600 if that. She said tha the nut will help me with that.
Ok, let me tell you about my wow moment...
I like to go walking in my neighborhood but on friday after my appoinment I was so pumped up about my weight loss I went for a walk around the track at the local high school. It has been years since I walked the track and I always made it around maybe 3 times. Well, Friday I went around 10 times. Yes, 10 times around the track. I was like OMG!!! I have never in my life walk around anybody's track 10 times I know that is nothing to sum but for me that is a big WOW moment.
I am just excited and I wanted to share with everybody.
sorry so long.

Its great about you breaking your stall. Yep, it happens to all of us. I'm 4 1/2 years out and am losing once again which is a very positive thing. I stalled for several because it had more to do with some personal/underlying health issues which have basically been resolved. A minor set back in the world of weight loss for me. I'm still successful, happy and thrilled that my tool works and very well to this day.
You should be not only excited but PROUD of yourself as well! Keep those wow moments journaled some place and take them out and remind yourself how far you've come and even document what goals you'd like to reach. Its truly wonderful the "simple/little" things that make our days huh?

Congrats on breaking your plateau, Mo. Hope the nutritionist can help you modify your diet.
What a great WOW moment you experienced. You must be feeling great to be able to walk 10 laps! Keep up the good work!
