New to Hampton Roads

I am 2 1/2 months post op Lap RNY. I just moved to Ft Eustis from Texas. I do not want to go to a military surgeon for my follow up care, so could anyone recommend a good surgeon who accepts Tricare Prime? Thanks for any info you can provide. ~Dana~

Hi Dana, I am prime but cannot answer your question. I have had excellent care at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and my PCM at BMC Oceana.

Not sure about your insurance issues, but you can always call around to our local offices. I used Dr. Moore/Spencer at Tidewater Surgical. They are excellent. Welcome to HR and the Virginia Board. We are pretty tight group of friends and support around here. The girls in HR actually get together in person at least once a month to chat about anything and everything. Welcome to Hampton Roads & Fort Eustis.  I also work at Fort Eustis.   I had surgery 2 years ago by Dr Clark.  I am doing great & have lost 107 pounds.  Try calling DR Clark or DR Terracina at the Weight Loss Surgery Center of Hampton Roads at 757 591-9572 & ask them if they accept Tricare Prime.  The staff there is very helpful.   Violet "JO" Wyatt
