The power of walking
This is just a shoutout for all my fellow exercisers. I'm not a big fan of running, but I've been given a generous amount of energy lately (thanks to a boy that's peaked my interest) and I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to go power walking and the next thing I knew it was 3 miles later. I did it again yesterday and when I stepped on the scale this morning, I was 3 pounds down.
I haven't lost 3 pounds in a week for probably 5 months! You can't imagine my excitement. I'll be one year out in a week and I'm down 104 pounds and only 16 pounds from the doc's goal and 26 from mine. I couldn't be more ecstatic. All I needed to do was get a bit more exercise "in a row". I would only do it for 30 minutes at a time. I just needed a little extra time involved. Don't think my butt won't be out there walking today either! I can't wait to leave work. I'm making a really low sugar/fat cheesecake tonight too, woohoo! Happy Thursday, all. Just thought I would share it with you. Keep it simple. Just raise your heart beat and it will work.
