Ok, I am all set for July 30th.  I am nervous, excited, scared, you name it, I probably feel it. They actually wanted to get me in on the 23rd but that day didnt work well, so I chose the 30th, I cannot beleive how quickly they schedule! I mean if I had chosen the 23rd it would have been 6 days away!! I still need to go to Red Lobster and eat ONE more time before I go.  So, did anyone else experience that? I want to east everything I can while I still can?  Maybe it is not the right mindset, but I know I love my lobster tail and I wont be able to eat it for some time after surgery. I dont dip it in butter so it is healthy. LOL that is my reasoning.

Congrats, girly!  Your day will be here before you know it!  Dr. Northup was my surgeon too;  he is great.  If I can do anything for you, please just let me know!

Congratulations! Red Lobster happens to still be one of my favorite places to eat! You will still be able to eat there just a LOT smaller portions. I love seafood and am glad its still on my menu post-op. Good luck and God bless!

Congratulations on your date - it will pass very quickly!! You can eat at Red Lobster after surgery and Seafood is a favorite of most people here - so you will be abl to eat that again don't wprry - it is those great little biscuits etc you won't be able to have much of lol!!  I really wanted to eat everything I could beofre surgery - like a million last suppers - but our nutritionist told us that of we were diabetic and our sugar levels were too high or out of control, the surgery would be cancelled - so I had a last supper at least a week before surgery to be on the safe side.... I am almost 17 months out now and I really do not feel deprived of anything - I thought I would but actually tastes do change of you change your eating habits.... Good luck for the 30th - I am sure you will do just great!! jackie

I am very excited for you . Your life will become so sweet and so healthy . . Congrats !!!  Now .. go to RL .. Eat everything you like .. want .. desire .. I went to a place called Captain Georges .. I ate everything I loved and then some .. Now mind you this was 2 weeks before surgery and not the night before ...  Some call it last meal syndrome .. I called it .. saying goodbye to old friends ...  I eat seafood now .. I just cannot eat a lot of it .. and I am ok with that ..  Best to you always,  Tink

Congrats to you. Red Lobster was my last big meal place too. I love red lobster. I have not gone back since surgery. I think I might have to make a trip soon. I use to get the Admirals Feast. I don't know what I would order now. I use to love the biscuts, I know I can't touch those either. Anyway enjoy your meal and keep us posted. Mo

Congrats & best wishes. Soon we will be welcoming you to the losing side.  I definitely has last supper syndrome.  I think I had chocolate cake every day for two weeks before my surgery.

OMG!!! They offered you the 23rd?! That was only a week away!! What does Dr. Northrup have you do for a pre-op diet? I am so nervous about that. Congrats on your date!
