Wonderful wow filled vacation
So we left Thursday for a long weekend in New York. Lots of cool things on the agenda. I had the most amazing time. We did so much walking as we shopped, (I swear I probably could have crossed the whole state as much as I walked the city) and up and down the steps for the subway and so on. Sitting all day in the heat at Yankee stadium for the game on Saturday and the absolutely amazing thing about it all was that I enjoyed it all so much. Other than my feet hurting just from the amount of time on them, physically I conquered it all. The steps didn't get me, the amount of walking didn't get me, the heat only got me a little bit. When I was 305 lbs. this trip would have been impossible.
My tool did let me know that it is still in charge. I got caught up in the fun and sort of skipped my lunch time, I knew my sugar was getting low and I needed to eat, tried to get a soft pretzel to tide me over and boy did my little pouch let me know that was unacceptable. I ate to fast because I was overly hungry and boom I was absolutely miserable. It was a lesson learned.
The absolute best part of the whole weekend was Saturday night. My wonderful man and my sweet girlies and I went off to Time Square to spend our last evening. While we were there right in the middle of Time Square and all the lights and people, he proposed. It was wonderful, very romantic, and absolutely unique and perfect for us. Of course I accepted so now I will be getting busy trying to plan a wedding. My life is blessed and I am so thankful.
Courtney,
