Two Great girls Having Surgery soon
I meet w/ 2 of the upcoming Aug. Surgery girls Busy Bee (Jackie) And makinachange(Meta) Sat. in Stanton just want to say Congrats to you both on your upcoming surgeries you both are wonderful young women starting out on your journeys to a new life and you guys are in for the rides of your lives. Jackie yours is here very soon Aug 1st I will be there like I said you have my # you call me for what ever it maybe. and if your friend has to leave, have her call me Ill be there when your wake up and return to your room. : ) You are such a beautiful person and lord world look out when Jackie starts her journey!!!! : ) Meta sweetie I know yours will be aways away but you to have my # and I expect a call from your sister as soon as your surgery is over and your awake!! I wanna know your ok. You have a whole life ahead of you as well and you both are gonna be like new butterflies and I am so blessed to be your friends and to watch you both blossom into new butterflys. Harrisonburg look out because Meta is gonna rock your city!!!!!!!! Cant wait to see you again Aug 1st Jackie and Meta seeing you again Aug 4th, and hope Jackie to but will understand if your not feeling up to the trip. Hi Prissy. I know we haven't met yet here, but I read your letter to Jackie & Meta & I just wanted to say how sweet of you to be there for them like that.
That's what I love about groups like this. Kinda reaffirms my faith in humanity the way people will reach out in time of need.
You rock, honey!
And Jackie & Meta...I hope ya'll post here so we can all get to know you & love you as Prissy has.

Hi Prissy it's me! This has to be the most heartfelt post I've seen since joining OH. I feel so fortunate that I was able to meet you, Meta and Karen. I know you have much advice to share and we're all so lucky to benefit from it. I think I speak for both Meta and myself (because we spoke a little while after we met for lunch) and I'm sure Karen as well, when I say we are so impressed with your genuine willingness to help us through one of the biggest decisions we'll make in our lifetime, your commitment to advise us along the way and your honesty about your experiences. Thank you so much for your support, as well as, your willingness to be there when I emerge from surgery on the other side.

Melinda, you're going to make me cry!!! I just read your post and I never stop being amazed at how supportive you are. You and Karen truly made me feel accepted and understood. I feel that whatever I may be going through that you will be there to answer my call or reply to an email and I love that feeling. For someone who has been researching WLS for a while yet new to OH (I lurked for a while) I couldn't have hoped to have met more wonderful people. I'm so thankful to you and Karen for meeting me in Harrisonburg and for including me for us all to meet Jackie. I am so very blessed to have started a wonderful support network of such great people. I'm excited to see you and Karen on August 4th, you better believe I will be at that Meet & Greet! And Jackie, I'm going to do my best to come see you after your surgery!!!!
