Charlottesville, Virginia VA FFP's Meet's every 4th Sat.

Prissy-pooh! You, my love, seem to me the cheerleader we all need. I look at your darling face & see nothing but love, support, & encouragement. Actually you all have that in common, but you just reek of team spirit. So wave those pom-poms & yell loud, honey...I'm listening!
Thanks for the welcome. We're gonna have so much fun together on this journey!
Welcome Ann!
I loved your post--you fit right in here! Walking around, even just inside the house, will make the pain in your shoulder area ease. Also try a massage and a heating pad. Heck, I will use any excuse to get my husband or kids to rub my back.
My JPdrain site hurt me too. Deep down inside-the pain would take my breath away. I'm happy you are here-
Hey Jen!!! Look at you, standing there so confident. Your body language in your photo just screams out confidence & determination. And you really do know my pain...the drain pain. Oh, that sounds weird, huh? It certainly does take your breathe away. I've been using my spirometer thingie...was getting it up to 1500 but today...a measly 500...:-( And about that heating pad...may I borrow yours? Mine seems to have sprout legs & walked off or something. Why is it that when ya want something, you can't possibly find it...as soon as ya don't need it, it's constantly out & in the way? Must be one of those Murphy's Laws we keep hearing so much about.
I hope you write often...I wanna know all you care to share!
Fantastic post! I feel a kindred spirit because I had my surgery at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital two weeks ago tomorrow. While I had Grox-en-y with Dr. Anez, I can understand some of what you are going through. My experience here on this post has been that these people care about us and have a lot of experience to share. They know much of what we will need to learn.
Remember: You learn from experience, but if you can get it second-hand the tuition is cheaper.

Michael, dearest...I would bet the farm that you give most excellent hugs!! And your name is perfection...I just happen to be married to a Michael & my eldest son is also named Michael. So when do you go for your next check up? Maybe we can hook up together...have lunch in the hospital cafeteria? How cool would that be????!!!!!
Pssst...ladies...I'll let ya know about the hug thing!
My next follow-up is Thursday, August 2:00 PM. And since I live in Fredericksburg, I don't have any plans to come up before that. However, since I will be returning to work at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital sometime during the second week of August, maybe we can have lunch after that when I will be there daily.
