TOMATO SOUP
It may sound ok .. but check out the sugar content ... they take out the fat .. but they have to replace the taste with something . And it is sugar they use .
If you want a good hearty soup . Get some of the Healthy Choice Veggie Soups . They are low in sodium and sugar . They also have great flavors too .
One thing you mus****ch out for is the FAT FREE SIGN . TO me this means sugar .. SO I eat normal things like real mayo .. real salad dressing . And if I only use a little .. I am ok ..or if I do not want to eat any fatenting stuff .. just use mustard .

The tomato soup or other soups should be okay. Like Natalie said the sugar count maybe high, you are preop so you don't have to watch the sugar for dumping reasons but it is a good idea to start checking those things now and picking good food choices to get into the habit. If you have any unflavored protein try adding that to your soups and such to give you more protein and help hold you over.
Yes Tomato soup I was just lookin in my cupboard has 12 grams of sugar never paid much mind to it I dont eat it anymore lol. Cream of potato looked ok but sodium high. So just read your labels we all become good label readers.
